Origin evidence pending

Creating the order records Maya Chen as the creator, assigns A. Singh as the next owner, and adds the handoff to the shared audit history.

Global trade actors

The definitive System of Records

The exporter buys Truo Trade. Everyone else is invited into the trade case, not into the company.

“I quoted a margin in March. I find out in July whether I kept it.”

Landed cost, FX and exception cost are priced once, at quote time, and never reconciled against what was actually paid.

In Truo Trade every cost line keeps its state — estimate, partner quote, booked, invoiced — on one record.

Daily operatorExport operations and documentation

“The deal is agreed. Now I type it into four places and chase it in three.”

In Truo Trade the accepted quote version becomes the case. Nothing is retyped.

Invited guestEU importer — procurement or compliance

“I am told it is on the way. I cannot book a clearance slot on ‘on the way’.”

In Truo Trade they get a scoped view: what is required, what is released, what is waiting on them.

Execution partnerCustoms broker or freight forwarder

“Half the packets we open start with three questions.”

In Truo Trade one bounded packet: scope, inputs, deadline, requested output.

Bounded reviewerCompliance and qualified review

“I can see the certificate. I cannot see which version of the order it belongs to.”

In Truo Trade requirement and evidence are separate objects, and every decision records its reviewer.

Three chapters, one continuous record.

The handoff problem

What each role opens first

Three roles. Three first screens. One record underneath.

Forecast on demand that survives the handoff.

  • Pipeline with consequences. Every opportunity carries a next action and an owner.
  • Quotes that stay attached. The approved version travels to the order, not a retyped copy.
  • Closed-won that means something. What shipped, against what was sold.

The continuity proof

The opportunity does not disappear when the trade begins.

Three teams, one thread. Filter it by layer and the relationships stay on screen, because “who changed this, and what did they see?” should cost one click rather than three phone calls.

Capability in development

Trade finance, without Truo Trade becoming the lender.

A funder asks whether the trade is real, whether it completed, and where repayment comes from. The record already holds most of that. Truo Trade assembles it; a licensed funder decides on it.

What it does

The application is the record.

  • Turn existing trade records into lender-ready applications
  • Improve submission quality with traceable, consistent evidence

Clear accountability

The licensed funder owns the credit decision.

  • Licensed funders own pricing, approval and credit risk
  • Funds move directly between borrower and licensed funder

Where it starts

Post-shipment invoice finance first.

  • Begin with finance readiness and post-shipment invoice finance
  • Expand to buyer-approved and bank-authenticated facilities

Which trade corridor does the demo show?

A cotton bed linen export from India to the EU: Sahyadri Textiles Pvt Ltd ships through Nhava Sheva (JNPA) to Ostgaard Import BV in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Parties, values and dates are illustrative. Maersk's published India–North Europe service documents both ports; the demo is not a live sailing schedule.

The record connects Indian export documents, carriage and insurance under CIP Rotterdam terminal (Incoterms® 2020), and the EU buyer's import review. The importer and broker confirm classification, origin and textile fibre labelling; the carrier and any house-level filer coordinate ICS2 entry summary data. Truo keeps that evidence attached to the trade.

What is Truo Trade?

A trade operating system for exporters and their counterparties. It carries a trade from lead capture through order, export and import execution, and trade compliance in one record — so the commercial context, the operational state and the compliance evidence stay attached to the same thread. The exporter holds the licence; the EU buyer, the broker and the reviewer are invited into the individual trade case.

Is this a CRM, an execution system, or a compliance platform?

All three are operating layers over one shared trade record. That is the point: the layers are not separate products stitched together with integrations, and none of them owns a private copy of the truth.

If you only need a sales CRM, a general-purpose one will serve you better. Truo Trade earns its place when a deal has to become a governed, moving shipment.

Can we start with one workflow or one team?

Yes. Most teams begin at the commercial-to-execution handoff, because that is where context is most often lost. The record model means later layers attach to work already captured rather than requiring a re-import.

How does Truo connect to our existing systems?

Truo Trade is designed to sit alongside an existing ERP, forwarder portals and document stores. The approved integration list, the direction each one moves data, and its support status are published on the integrations page once each has been verified.

Do you provide trade finance?

Not today, and not as the lender when we do. A partner-led capability is in development: Truo Trade would assemble the dossier, prefill the lender's application and track conditions and status, while a regulated bank, NBFC, factor or ITFS platform owns eligibility, pricing, the decision, disbursement and collections.

A readiness check will say ready to apply. It will never say approved, and money will not move through Truo Trade.

How are automated results and human decisions kept apart?

They are separate fields on the record. A screening or classification result stores its source, scope, time and confidence. A human decision stores the responsible reviewer, the basis and the outcome.

The interface never merges them, and a recorded result never claims to replace customs, legal or compliance judgement.

What happens to our existing customer and shipment data?

It is mapped onto the record model during implementation, with the migration path agreed before any import runs. The specific approach depends on your current systems and is scoped during the product tour.

Where is data hosted and how is access controlled?

Access is controlled by role-based permissions with an append-only audit history of who changed what and when. Hosting locations, retention periods, encryption detail and data residency options are answered in writing during evaluation, and will be published here once verified.

How long does implementation take?

This is scoped against your systems and volumes rather than quoted as a headline number. A verified implementation timeline will be published here when there is enough delivery evidence to state one honestly.
